Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:
UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver and assess response to ordered therapy per plan of care.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices.
- Respond to codes and calls for emergent assistance.
- Educate the patient and family about the patient's illness and provide information about community resources.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- State licensure if required by law.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date.
- ACLS and NRP required within 6 months of hire.
