The Quality Assurance Inspector plays a crucial role in verifying that products and incoming materials adhere to the necessary contracts, designs, specifications, and documented requirements as outlined in inspection protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts thorough visual and dimensional assessments of finished products
- Evaluates incoming materials and components from suppliers to confirm compliance with specifications
- Determines product disposition based on established procedures and work instructions
- Manages inventory locations and statuses through barcode scanning and electronic databases
- Maintains and updates documentation of records using FilePro, written records, and spreadsheets
- Engages in communication with Quality Engineers, Supervisors, and Cell Leads
- Performs any additional tasks assigned by management
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Excellent communication abilities
- IPC-A-610 Certification required
- IPC-A-620 Certification is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Capability to utilize a microscope
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary
