We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Core-Mark. As a key member of our distribution center, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of products through our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities- Receiving and Processing: Receive all inbound merchandise and accurately locate the proper pick location.
- Inventory Management: Restock order pick and flow lines to prepare the warehouse for order selection, ensuring that products are stored in sufficient quantities to accommodate routine or special demands.
- Quality Control: Maintain a high level of attention to detail by ensuring that all areas, including balers, aisles, racking, floors, door pits, and other assigned areas, are properly maintained.
- Order Fulfillment: Transfer merchandise from the receiving area to its appropriate location, consolidate merchandise into picking containers as necessary, and pack products securely in cartons and totes.
- Shipping and Receiving: Ensure the application of shipping ID and mark cartons/totes with truck run and stop number, and ensure safe and efficient movement and tracking of inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse.
- Inventory Integrity: Maintain inventory integrity by adhering to system processes and accurately recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- End-of-Shift Tasks: Perform end-of-shift tasks, such as charging power equipment and verifying completed work, and maintain an orderly workstation by returning supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Availability: Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position.
- Physical Demands: Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift, and able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves, as well as replenish product, from various heights weighing between 10-35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout the shift.
- Certifications: Able to obtain certifications for powered equipment, such as Forklift operation.
- Background Check: Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
