Position Overview:

The Finance Operations Manager will oversee various functions within the Accounting Department, including the preparation of financial statements, reporting, technical accounting research, and treasury management. This role involves coordinating audits, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining robust accounting systems in alignment with U.S. GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including all necessary documentation.
  • Assist in the annual audit process by preparing workpapers and facilitating auditor inquiries.
  • Conduct technical accounting research and draft relevant policies and memoranda.
  • Document and review internal controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage journal entries and account reconciliations for monthly and annual closing processes.
  • Perform reconciliations and analyses of bank and general ledger accounts.
  • Monitor and enhance current accounting systems and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison with auditors and regulatory agencies.
  • Prepare governmental reports and respond to inquiries as needed.
  • Review cash flow reports and conduct necessary analyses.
  • Administer monthly financial reporting and perform detailed analyses.
  • Ensure accuracy of support schedules related to general ledger accounts.
  • Maintain and improve the chart of accounts to enhance internal controls.
  • Stay updated on current trends and practices in the accounting profession.
  • Make recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate year-end audit reviews with external auditors.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of five years of general accounting experience.
  • At least two years in a managerial role within an accounting department.
  • Familiarity with both manual and automated accounting systems, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and reasoning skills.
