Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Care Specialist to join our team at Roanoke Animal Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work closely with our veterinarians to deliver high-quality medical services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to small animals, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and diagnostic testing
  • Work collaboratively with our veterinarians to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and take medical histories
  • Administer medications and perform minor surgical procedures as needed
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies

Requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary degree (DVM) from an accredited university
  • Active veterinary state license
  • Current DEA License preferred but not required
  • USDA Accreditation preferred but not required
