Responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Provide nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities
  • Measure and monitor vital signs, reporting to supervisors as necessary
  • Observe resident conditions and report concerns to the nursing team
  • Serve meals and assist with feeding residents as needed
  • Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting
  • Clean and sanitize surfaces, maintain resident rooms, and ensure a hygienic environment
  • Communicate with medical staff, residents, and visitors
  • Move residents safely and reposition them as needed
  • Offer compassionate care and companionship to residents

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a current Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification and a basic understanding of medical terminology and nursing care procedures.
