The Sr. Quality Engineer Role

We're seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Sr. Quality Engineer. This role involves handling the quality function from new product introduction through the manufacturing process to field-level performance, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality visual aids for inline, final, and OBA inspections.
  • Collaborate with engineering to enhance NPI efficiency and quality through design for manufacturability tools.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain PFMEA's and control plans.
  • Drive process and test yield improvements through collaboration with ME and TE.
  • Conduct regular LPA2 and ISO internal audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Verify customer-related defects and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead internal quality initiatives using root cause analysis techniques.
  • Meet or exceed key performance indicators related to process yields, FNI & OBA performance.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and print specifications.
  • Coordinate FAI or customer NPI documentation as needed.
  • Review and approve critical documents, including ECN's, PCN's, and quality alerts.
  • Provide data-driven insights on defect trends and customer satisfaction.
  • Offer technical support and guidance on quality-related matters to customers and colleagues.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on quality-related topics and procedures.
  • Mentor and supervise quality technicians to ensure their growth and development.
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and security policies and procedures.
  • Pursue continuous improvement opportunities through lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of QE experience in a related industry or field.
