Job Overview

Glockner Enterprises, a family-owned business with a rich history, is seeking a results-driven Heavy Truck and Trailer Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales of our extensive inventory of heavy trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Generation: Identify customer needs, present appropriate products, and close deals to drive sales of heavy trucks and trailers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout the sales process.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the heavy trucks and trailers in our inventory, as well as industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market conditions, customer preferences, and industry developments to identify sales opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to final sale, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for customers.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, tracking progress against targets and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, finance department, and management to achieve overall business goals and provide input on inventory needs.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of sales experience in the heavy truck and trailer industry or a related field.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • A passion for the heavy truck and trailer industry.
  • License: Valid driver's license (required).
