About the Role

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Seattle, Washington.

Job Summary

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients in accordance with physician orders. You will ensure patient safety, prepare radiology rooms for procedures, develop images, and maintain diagnostic equipment. You will also exercise professional judgment in the performance of diagnostic services and maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality general radiographic and specialty images through the use of clinical protocols.
  • Position patients to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest, respecting patient comfort and ability.
  • Demonstrate knowledge to perform general radiographic and specialty procedures through the use of radiological equipment.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality, assuring proper identification is recorded.
  • Adhere to Cooperative-wide Personal Protection Equipment, Universal Precautions, related Medical Waste (RMW), Infection Control, Safety, and other OSHA Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved accredited radiologic technology program by time of hire.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support required at hire.
