Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plasma Collection Technician to join our team at CSL Plasma. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for collecting plasma samples and ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect plasma samples from donors in a safe and efficient manner
  • Verify the accuracy of unit labeling and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Utilize sterile technique to draw samples and maintain the sterility and quality of plasma unit samples
  • Monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
  • Conduct daily calibration of equipment according to SOPs
  • Ensure the accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of three (3) months experience in laboratory or warehouse environment preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 25 pounds
  • Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment while performing specific tasks or in certain areas
