Perfusion Specialist

We are seeking a highly-motivated candidate with a positive attitude who must be Board Certified (ABCP) or eligible with at least 0-5 years of experience as a practicing Clinical Perfusionist for an established heart program in a high-demand location.

***Candidate must have graduated from an accredited American school and be American Board certified (CCP) or CCP eligible.​​​***

Candidates should also possess the following:

1. Ability to adapt to a challenging clinical environment.
2. Must possess good communication and troubleshooting skills.
3. Must be able to practice evidence based medicine; also to advise and participate in clinical decisions with a team approach.
4. Experience with blood management is preferred.
5. Must be willing to relocate to this location or the immediate surrounding area.
6. Must enjoy working with fast, talented surgeons.
7. New Grads or part-time perfusionists may be considered.

The candidate would be joining an established heart program in a high-demand location that will be expanding the perfusion team to 5 perfusionists as well as developing a new structural heart program (LVAD/ ECMO). This location has 2 fast and efficient surgeons and perform over 400 open heart and TAVR procedures with ECMO (additional reimbursement).

Estimated Compensation Range

$130,000-$150,000+ per year based on skills, experience and possible bonus opportunities with many bonus opportunities increasing W2 wage to near or over $200,000+
