Job Summary

Palm Bay Memory Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to support exceptional senior living experiences. As a Resident Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing physical and psychosocial care to our residents, promoting dignity, choice, and individuality.

Responsibilities
  • Provide all necessary care and services to assigned residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Work collaboratively with peers and other team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Document provision of services on company forms and maintain accurate records.
  • Operate designated medical equipment, copy, scan, fax machines, and telephone.
  • Escorts residents and coordinates internal transportation needs.
  • Assist residents with personal correspondence/telephone use when requested.
  • Monitor for environmental safety hazards and respond to emergencies in a prompt and calm manner.
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
  • Satisfactory completion of the company Resident Assistant skills competency checklist.
  • Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases; Lifting, bending, and pushing medication cart about residence is required.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
  • Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire and upon request of supervisor.
