Job Summary

AmeriGas Propane is seeking a skilled and safety-minded Delivery Representative to join our team in Gunnison, CO. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering propane and filling tanks for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes
  • Filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane
  • Delivering propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers
  • Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid CDL A or B license
  • Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements required
  • Must have a minimum of 6 months CDL driving experience with a clean driving record
  • Propane industry experience is a plus
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to load/unload 50-pound cylinders (up to 200/day) and pull 75-pound hoses that are 150 feet or more
  • Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate: $26.75 to $27.75
  • Average of 40-50 hours weekly
  • Overtime pay after 40 hours worked at time and a half
  • $5,000 sign-on bonus – $2,500 paid after 90 days and $2,500 paid after 1 year
  • $2,500 employee referral program
  • Eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales
  • 401(k) with 3% employee contribution. AmeriGas matches 100% of the first 5% that you contribute the first of the month after the completion of one year of service
