Aya Locums is seeking a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at a reputable acute care hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
Job Highlights:
- Estimated Salary: $195/hour - $205/hour
- 13-week assignment
- Scheduled + No Call Shift Coverage
- Standard 3, 12-Hour Shift Schedule: 06:30 - 19:00
About the Position
We are looking for a highly skilled CRNA with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited CRNA program. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a clinical anesthesia setting and hold an active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Pennsylvania. National certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) is also required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgery, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia management, and postoperative pain management.
- Collaborate with surgeons, surgical teams, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic plans as needed.
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
- Stay current on the latest advancements in anesthesia practice through continuing education.
