Travel Nurse RN Interventional Radiology

Bluebird Staffing is seeking a skilled travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology to join our team. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology to work in our Interventional Radiology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:- Perform minimally invasive interventional techniques, including angiography, angioplasty, and stent placement
- Assist in the performance of biopsy procedures, fibroid removal, and fluid and abscess drainage
- Act as the first point of contact for referrals and patients
- Attend patient consultations and perform initial examinations and patient assessments
- Write pre-procedure orders and make recommendations to the referring physician, patient, and patient's family under the guidance of the interventional radiologist
- Serve as a liaison between the patient and the nursing staff and referring physician
- Perform daily rounds and communicate patient progress to the medical staff and the radiologist
- Orchestrate patient discharge and make additional referrals for home care
- Perform follow-up visits
- 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
- Epic experience required
- BLS & ACLS required
- PALS Preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
