Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and operate plant machinery, ensuring optimal product flow and immediate corrective actions for any issues.
- Execute routine and non-routine tasks safely while supporting our safety culture.
- Assist in the receiving of raw material shipments into the facility.
- Complete necessary documentation and process checklists regularly.
- Operate packaging machinery and conduct quality inspections throughout the production process.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the plant.
- Support preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Undertake additional tasks and projects as required.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Mechanical aptitude is preferred.
- Previous forklift experience is beneficial.
- Familiarity with GMPs and Food Safety is a plus.
- At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment or related agricultural field.
Skills and Capabilities:
- Eagerness to learn and assist colleagues.
- Ability to read and comprehend work-related documents.
- Effective time management and task prioritization skills.
- Capability to perform physical labor.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing, eye, and hand protection.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Ability to climb stairs multiple times throughout the shift.
- Must be able to reach overhead occasionally.
- Capability to work safely at elevated platforms as needed.
