Senior Economist

Job Summary

As a Senior Economist with the Internal Revenue Service, you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting economic data to inform tax policy and enforcement decisions. This position requires a strong understanding of economic principles and theories, as well as experience with transfer pricing and international tax issues.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyze and interpret economic data to inform tax policy and enforcement decisions
* Develop and implement economic models to analyze transfer pricing and international tax issues
* Collaborate with other experts to develop and implement tax policies and procedures
* Provide technical assistance and guidance to taxpayers and other stakeholders on transfer pricing and international tax issues

Requirements

* Master's degree in economics or a related field
* At least 5 years of experience in transfer pricing and international tax
* Strong understanding of economic principles and theories
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Working Conditions

* This position is located in Washington, D.C.
* The selected candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and priorities
* The selected candidate will be required to travel occasionally to attend meetings and conferences
