We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Surgical Technologist to join our team in Spokane, Washington. This is a 13-week travel opportunity with a guaranteed salary of $93,760 for the duration of the contract.
Job Summary:
This position offers a chance to work as a Surgical Technologist in a CVOR setting, providing top-notch care to patients and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team. You will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a smooth surgical process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure they are equipped with necessary supplies and equipment
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses to ensure seamless surgical processes
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to alleviate anxiety and concerns
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and on-call duties
