About the Role:
InGenesis is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working closely with our clients to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine nursing assessments and provide emergency/first aid treatment as needed.
- Administer medications and monitor medication effects, identifying potential drug allergies and interactions.
- Draw blood and perform minor laboratory tests, as well as administer oxygen and breathing treatments.
- Oversee and direct care provided by resident care aides during shifts, maintaining accurate records and providing clear communication.
- Assist physicians in routine rounds and provide a complete shift-to-shift report.
