Cybersecurity Responsibilities:
  • The candidate will be tasked with evaluating policies and procedures pertinent to cybersecurity and those applicable to their role.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Evaluate Work In-Process for Compliance:
    • Prepare and finalize receiving inspection reports on incoming products to ensure vendor adherence.
    • Conduct regular inspections of components produced by the manufacturing team.
    • Perform final functional testing of both mechanical and electrical products.
    • Identify production challenges and propose enhancements.
    • Document any non-conformities identified during inspections.
  2. Create and Revise Quality Documentation:
    • Maintain inspection records.
    • Draft and refine quality procedures for specific processes in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with Engineering teams to draft and refine assembly work instructions to ensure product and process quality.
    • Conduct tests and compile results to assist in the resolution of non-conforming products.
    • Adhere to Cutsforth's Quality Policy (refer to document A-500-GA-001).
    • Analyze product designs to ensure durability and quality.
    • Document and compile observational data for future evaluations.
    • Manage and uphold testing procedures and implement automated testing processes when feasible.
    • Analyze products to identify design flaws and estimate product longevity.
    • Recommend improvements to enhance product durability.
  3. Conduct ISO 9001 Site Audits:
    • Implement ISO 9001 training and ensure compliance.
    • Meet with staff to review and prepare for upcoming audits.
    • Organize improvement initiatives based on findings from internal audits.
  4. Design Tools and Gauges to Enhance Quality:
    • Identify quality risks associated with production and assembly processes.
    • Design 'go/no-go' gauges to minimize errors.
    • Collaborate with other Engineering staff to design and enhance error-proof fixtures.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Occasional travel to external manufacturing facilities to participate in audits.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • 2-3 years of experience in quality systems or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
  • CQE Certification.
  • Ability to interpret CAD models, drawings, and tolerances.
  • Basic understanding of electronic wiring, including the capability to perform basic troubleshooting with a multimeter.
  • Comprehension of how quality impacts 'on-time delivery' within a manufacturing environment.
  • Motivated to meet or exceed critical delivery timelines.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and video conferencing tools.
  • Comfortable conveying technical information in group settings.
  • Ability to utilize basic hand tools and power tools.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds within the production environment (e.g., navigating stairs and similar obstacles).
  • Must be able to exert a maximum of 40 pounds of static force.
  • Must be able to use hands for typing, handling products, parts, and tools, as well as operating a computer keyboard and machinery.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this position include close and distance vision.

Compensation:
  • $78,339 to $94,728 annually.
