About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Science Mechanical Expert to join our team at RDH Building Science, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering integrated engineering services across a range of projects, primarily focusing on existing buildings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and be able to work collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional results. They should also have excellent analytical problem-solving skills and be able to communicate complex technical information effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and/or complete site visits for mechanical system assessments, warranty reviews, forensic investigations, cooling assessments, and energy/carbon reduction assessments.
  • Work with RDH team members, sub-consultants, and partners to design and support the implementation of mechanical retrofit solutions including heating, cooling, ventilation, and plumbing & drainage retrofits.
  • Coordinate mechanical requirements with internal RDH project teams and sub-consultants.
