Qualifications:
Responsible for resolving intricate hardware and software issues impacting application systems. Initiates actions to prevent future problems. 2) Develops comprehensive specifications for programming tasks. Evaluates and modifies existing system logic and documentation as needed. 3) Proposes solutions to reduce and/or avert system disruptions. 4) Manages changes and issues using standard tools in accordance with company change management policies and procedures for software/hardware deployment across various platforms and/or environments. 5) May indirectly oversee moderately complex projects and engage in technical/complex initiatives. Provides updates on project status and prepares management reports as necessary. 6) Leverages available tools to automate manual processes. 7) Adheres to and ensures compliance with technical standards for programming and design methodologies.

Educates computer operations and technical staff on the use of software/hardware tools in line with required standards and procedures.

Contributes to the development and revision of departmental standards and procedures. 8) Assists in monitoring adherence to internal audit requirements and Information Security Manual guidelines. 9) Performs other related tasks as assigned.

Working Conditions:
Utilizes standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, etc.

Physical Demands:
Involves a degree of sitting (for extended periods), standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items over 20 lbs.

Hours of Work:
May necessitate extended work hours. Occasional travel, including overnight stays, may be required. May be subject to on-call duties and callbacks as necessary. Exposure to moderate noise from equipment may occur. Requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 3 to 5+ years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities:

Designs conceptual, logical, and physical IT engineering frameworks that support the infrastructure needs of various technical and business application projects.

Conducts analysis of business requirements in relation to technical infrastructure design, ensuring traceability of the design to the business needs.

Evaluates testing requirements and formulates testing strategies, as well as preparing implementation and transition plans. This experienced-level position necessitates a commitment to career development in the field and a solid understanding of industry practices. Requires a moderate level of experience and proficiency in the field.

Knowledge:
Progressive understanding of concepts and principles in the functional area. General awareness of departmental/business lines, Reserve Banks, and/or System operations, policies, procedures, and technologies.

Communications:
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, creativity, attention to detail, and oral and written communication skills tailored for the intended audience.

Risk Management:
The individual is accountable for understanding and applying risk management principles in decision-making and contributing to their function's risk management.

Decision Making:
Operates under guidance with infrequent checks; adheres to established methods and clear-cut policies. Makes decisions when general instructions or established methods indicate the necessary actions.
