Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Med/Surg 6C department at Methodist Medical Center. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will contribute to the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient's status through interview, observation, and physical assessment of actual problems and outcomes.
  • Develop an individualized plan of care using a collaborative approach with the patient/family and healthcare team.
  • Use appropriate interventions identified in the plan of care to achieve expected patient outcomes.
  • Systematically evaluate and document patient's progress toward expected outcomes/goals on an ongoing basis throughout the shift.
  • Modify plan of care based on evaluation and as needed based on changes in patient condition.
Requirements
  • Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License in the State of Illinois.
  • Associates Degree in Nursing.
  • Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser.
