Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Surveying Technician to support land development and civil engineering projects. This position involves utilizing various technologies to draft survey-related drawings, perform boundary, topographic, construction, and as-built surveys. The ideal candidate will have experience in the land survey industry, be detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively to provide accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft survey-related drawings using Civil3D.
  • Assist in performing boundary, topographic, construction, and as-built surveys for land development and civil engineering projects.
  • Collect, process, and analyze field data to produce accurate and detailed survey information.
  • Work closely with surveyors, project managers, and engineers to support project needs and ensure data accuracy.
  • Transfer collected data from field equipment to office software for processing and mapping.
  • Adhere to company safety protocols and industry standards during fieldwork.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's degree or technical certification in surveying, geomatics, or a related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in land surveying.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar drafting software is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work occasionally outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to Oregon sites as needed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
