About the Opportunity

RS&H is seeking a detail-oriented civil engineer to join our Infrastructure Practice in Raleigh, NC. As a graduate civil engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of civil projects, including airports and roadways, and contribute to the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design civil engineering projects essential for the continued safe and efficient operation of the nation's most important infrastructure systems.
  • Assist with various design-related assignments, analyses, and field duties on infrastructure projects.
  • Develop construction plans, technical specifications, cost estimates, bid documents, and quantity takeoffs under the direction of licensed civil engineers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
  • Basic knowledge of civil engineering design, systems, calculations, and the application of engineering methods and construction methods and materials.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or Open Roads.
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Strong work ethic aligning with the company's mission and core values.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior internship and/or related engineering experience.
  • EI Certification (strongly preferred).
