Job Summary

UH Parma Medical Center is seeking a skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team. As an MRI Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for administering magnetic resonance imaging to diagnose medical problems in patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI Scanning Machines: Capture high-quality images of patients' bodies to aid in medical diagnosis.
  • Follow Physician Orders: Receive and follow instructions from physicians regarding which body parts to image and assess the images to determine if additional imaging is required.
  • Patient Preparation: Work closely with patients to ensure they are prepared and comfortable before and during procedures.
  • Medical History and Records: Take patients' medical histories and maintain accurate records of their imaging procedures.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Current AHA BLS Credential: Evidence of current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience and Education: One year of current MRI tech experience and a graduate of an accredited program for MRI tech/certificate programs/Associate's programs Clinical Internship.
