Job Summary

Delta Health is seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our Outpatient Therapies and Sports Performance clinic. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries. Responsibilities
  • Assess patients to determine modifications of therapy and treatment needs in consultation with physicians or physical therapists.
  • Develop exercise programs that address patients' short and long-term goals.
  • Monitor patients' response to treatment and educate them on exercise programs, health needs, and risks.
  • Coordinate care with other patient care providers as necessary.
  • Complete accurate documentation, including reports, treatments, intake forms, and message logs.
  • Clean, maintain, and inspect exercise equipment, reporting repair and maintenance needs.
  • Engage in marketing and community educational programs to promote the clinic's services.
  • Provide Certified Athletic Trainer services, working closely with physicians to facilitate post-operative care and injury treatment/rehabilitation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from an accredited university athletic training program.
  • Current Colorado Athletic Trainer licensure and Board of Certification (BOC) required.
  • Minimum of two years' experience working with regular fitness clients or athletes and one year of clinical experience.
  • BLS certification required upon hire.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
  • Strong understanding of sports injuries and treatment options, first-aid treatments, massage, and physical rehabilitation techniques and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Good driving record and excellent driving skills required.
