About the Role

TikTok is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our recommendation infrastructure. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our recommendation systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain large-scale recommendation systems to ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues that impact the performance and reliability of our recommendation systems.
  • Develop and maintain tools and scripts to automate operations and improve R&D efficiency.
  • Work closely with engineers and product managers to design and implement new features and services.
  • Measure and monitor the performance and health of our recommendation systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related field, with at least 2 years of related work experience.
  • Experience in SRE of large-scale systems deployment with high reliability and scalability.
  • Familiarity with system operation skills in Linux and network.
  • Experience programming in at least one of the following languages: Python, Perl, Go, or C/C++.
  • Experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with popular CI/CD procedures and environments.
  • Effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
