The Registered Nurse - Specialty is responsible for delivering patient-centered care, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices while addressing the unique needs of diverse populations.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Conduct thorough assessments of assigned patients, documenting nursing care and reporting any changes in their condition.
3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and evaluate patient care plans.
4. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, providing necessary information regarding their treatment plans. 5. Create a supportive environment by offering psychological assistance to patients and their families. 6. Administer medications and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards. 7. Communicate care plans effectively to patients, families, and team members, ensuring adherence to privacy regulations. 8. Utilize resources for effective discharge planning and prioritize tasks to enhance patient care. 9. CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Certification and Licensing:
Florida Registered Nurse License
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certification (ACLS)
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in nursing practice
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
- Familiarity with medical terminology
