About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Transitional Cardiac Unit team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with complex cardiac conditions, including those requiring telemetry monitoring and cardiac surgery.
  • Administer medications, perform wound care, and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in cardiac care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia or compact license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
