We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Ochsner Medical Center, specializing in Cardiology. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.
About the RoleAs a Radiology Technologist in our Cardiology department, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing patients for radiological exams, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process
- Operating imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners, to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- State licensure and NURSYS verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
- Neuro IR experience is a plus, but not required
This position requires a 4x10 hour shift schedule, with on-call requirements as part of the contract. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- A starting salary of $65,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
- A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off
