Senior Structural Designer Opportunity

Primoris Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Designer to join their team in Houston, TX.

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with 8+ years of experience in civil/structural design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and CADWorx Structure Hexagon PPM. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of 2D/3D CAD fundamentals and be able to take ownership of their work.

About the Role

This position will involve creating grading models and plans using Civil 3D software, running cut and fill analysis, and generating materials lists based on site-specific soil conditions. Additionally, the successful candidate will create platform, supports, and structures using CADWorx Structure, work closely with the engineering team, and coordinate with other disciplines throughout projects.

  • Create accurate grading models and plans using Civil 3D software
  • Conduct thorough cut and fill analyses and generate site-specific materials lists

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • At least 8-15 years of experience working as a Structural Designer
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and CADWorx Structure
  • Strong knowledge of 3D modeling using various Autocad applications
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Competitive Salary and Benefits Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including paid company holidays, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, short-term/long-term disability, and a 401(k) plan with matching contributions.
