Job Summary:

CVS Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care that meets the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide primary and family care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
  • Perform routine examinations and provide health counseling to patients.
  • Order and administer immunizations and injections, as well as provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
  • Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness programs.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
  • Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Epic preferred.
  • Prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred, but not required.
