Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Truck Technician to join our team at Bob's Truck Repair and Car Care Center, LLC. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs and maintenance on medium and heavy-duty trucks.
Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, and drivability issues
* Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs
* Conduct general truck and trailer repairs, including brakes, suspension, and steering systems
* Maintain and repair lighting systems
* Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
* Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices
Requirements:
* Must hold State of Michigan Certifications
* CDL License is preferred or ability to obtain
* Valid driver's license
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
