Job Summary
The Lee Health team is seeking a highly skilled Oncology Pharmacist to join our pharmacy department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in our cancer care facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, dispense, and monitor medications used in our cancer care facilities.
- Sustain a safe and efficient environment for the use of medications prescribed to patients of all age groups.
- Directly supervise technical support personnel in the pharmacy department.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulatory agency standards, professional practice standards, and Lee Health policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited program.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of professionally responsible pharmacist experience, with a preference for recent inpatient hospital experience as a staff pharmacist or pharmacy intern in a general medical/surgical hospital.
- Licensure:
- Current pharmacist license in the state of Florida.
