Key Responsibilities
The Assistant Coach will:

  • Support the Head Coach in managing the daily operations of the golf programs.
  • Evaluate athlete performance and provide instruction on golf techniques and strategies.
  • Assist in all aspects of NCAA and CCIW compliant recruitment.
  • Plan and assess practices and tournaments, including video analysis.
  • Promote the academic success of student-athletes by monitoring their performance and behavior.
  • Foster positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, alumni, faculty, and staff.
  • Oversee the management of athletic equipment.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Head Coach and athletic administration.

Qualifications
Applicants must possess:

  • A bachelor's degree.
  • Acceptance into a graduate program at North Park University.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Coaching or playing experience, along with a strong understanding of golf.
  • The ability to lift and transport athletic equipment.
  • A valid driver's license and the capacity to travel with the team.
  • A commitment to the mission of Christian higher education.
