Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, with a focus on student-centered care.
- Provide evidence-based therapy to students with speech and language disorders, with a focus on improving communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning and communication goals.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals, with a focus on student-centered planning.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and services provided, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
- Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology, with a focus on staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- State Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement, or eligibility to obtain.
- Experience working with school-aged children, with a focus on providing high-quality services.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
