Position Overview:
As a pizza preparation specialist, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective preparation of food items while adhering to food safety, portioning, and recipe guidelines. Your role is crucial in ensuring that ingredients are readily available for daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare a variety of ingredients including meats, vegetables, and sauces for our pizza oven.
  • Take full responsibility for the quality of the products served.
  • Consistently follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen policies.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels of food products at workstations to ensure smooth service.
  • Portion food items prior to cooking according to established specifications.
  • Keep your workstation clean and sanitary, including all equipment and surfaces.
  • Assist prep and shift managers with any requests.
  • Be ready to support fellow cooks as needed.
  • Properly handle, store, and rotate all food products.
  • Help with food preparation tasks during slower periods.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute suggestions for improvement.
  • Carry out any additional tasks assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • No prior experience is required; however, one year of kitchen experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a hot and noisy environment for extended periods.
  • Physical capability to reach, bend, and stand for long durations.
  • Must be able to lift heavy items, up to 50 pounds, multiple times during a shift.
