POSITION SUMMARY:


The Gaming Operations Supervisor is tasked with managing the daily activities of the Gaming Operations department while adhering to and enforcing company policies, regulations, and standards during a designated shift.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Upholds and promotes the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Casino.
  • Aids in formulating and executing effective strategies for enhancing customer service within the Gaming Operations Team.
  • Processes and/or verifies significant payouts as outlined by the property's Internal Controls.
  • Develops weekly and daily staffing schedules.
  • Ensures compliance with federal currency reporting requirements.
  • Provides friendly and informative assistance to guests. Addresses guest concerns in a respectful, professional, and positive manner. Demonstrates genuine empathy, actively listens to guests, and takes ownership of their issues, ensuring follow-through to resolution.
  • Maintains strict security of keys, communication devices, and any other issued items, adhering to company safety protocols.
  • Participates in all mandatory training sessions.
  • Understands and complies with the Company’s Compulsive and Problem Gambling Plan, particularly regarding regulations against serving minors and intoxicated individuals.
  • Must be adaptable in scheduling based on operational needs.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, experience, skills required, equipment used.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a customer service-oriented role within a high-volume, complex resort casino environment is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software; experience with slot systems is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of a wide range of slot machines and systems, with the ability to train others.
  • Capability to interact with mobile devices and touchscreen technology.
  • Previous experience with smartphone and tablet applications is highly preferred.
  • Ability to learn player tracking systems and complimentary guidelines consistent with industry standards.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Due to the dynamic nature of the hospitality and entertainment industry, team members must be available to work varied schedules to meet the operational needs of the property.

Gaming License Required? Must be able to obtain and maintain NRGC Gaming License.
