Physician - Family Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Ascension Seton Luling Health Center. As a valued member of our medical community, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our experienced medical staff.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills, coordinating discharge planning with case management as needed.
- Recommend and participate in efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
- Accept patient referrals from other physicians and act as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for patients requiring hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses.
- Participate in academic programs, such as medical education and research, as requested.
- Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements and appeal denials in a timely manner.
- Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, including on-call schedules.
Required Credential(s): Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board.
Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
