**Certification Requirements**

* ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required for this position.

**Job Summary**

Day Kimball Hospital in Northern Connecticut is seeking experienced ER traveling nurses to join their team. The hospital is a 100-bed facility without a trauma designation, requiring nurses with 2 years of experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

**Responsibilities**

* Provide high-quality patient care in the emergency room setting
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient outcomes
* Maintain current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS
* Participate in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (NVCIT) or obtain certification within 3 months of hire

**Schedule and Shifts**

* Nights shifts available, starting mid-October
* 7p-7a shifts

**Additional Requirements**

* Temporary license takes 10-15 days to process
* Facility will accept submittals without a CT RN license, but start date would need to be at least 3 weeks from offer acceptance
* Clinicians with a CT RN license can start as soon as 2-3 weeks from offer acceptance

**Facility Information**

* 24-bed emergency department, including a 5-bed locked behavioral health unit
* Sees approximately 24,000 patients per year
* Certified stroke center
