Job Summary

Y. Hata & Co., Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Specialist to join our team in Kauai. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for receiving and storing products, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and store products in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to company standards and protocols
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any receiving-related issues or concerns
  • Operate lift trucks or other equipment to receive and transport products
  • Replenish primary pick slots from secondary pick slots, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management
  • Assist in receiving area or with will call orders, as needed
  • Follow established safety standards for proper food handling and date rotation procedures
  • Perform general housekeeping in the warehouse, maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Perform similar and related duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • One year experience in distribution or warehouse operations, preferably in the foodservice industry
  • Ability to successfully complete in-house forklift certification test
  • Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 lbs
