Job Title: Dealership Accounting/Title ClerkJob Summary

Acura of Memphis is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support our accounting team in managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records for our dealership.

Responsibilities
  • Process Deal Paperwork: Ensure timely submission of title work to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Accurately reconcile bank statements and maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Prepare Journal Entries: Process daily journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Update Accounting Systems: Maintain and update dealership accounting systems and procedures.
  • Communicate with External Parties: Collaborate with County Clerk offices and State officials regarding tags and registrations.
  • Resolve Discrepancies: Work with other departments to resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting software.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
