We are in search of a seasoned Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team of dedicated problem solvers and support our clients effectively.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will work collaboratively across various departments to shape and execute enterprise strategies for our clients. Acting as a principal technical consultant, you will spearhead the implementation of cloud strategies, utilizing your technical acumen and business insights. You will also address complex challenges through analytical thinking and hands-on programming, while partnering with multiple teams to promote strategic solution initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant hands-on experience in the field.
  • Proficient in developing production-grade software using contemporary programming languages (such as Java, Python, Go, NodeJS, etc.).
  • Experience in creating containerized applications deployed in production environments using orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, Mesos, or Swarm.
  • Thorough understanding of agile and lean software development methodologies.
  • Proven experience with modern version control systems, including Git, Subversion, and Mercurial.
  • Expertise in building scalable developer platform services and APIs.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge in Identity and Access Lifecycle Management Operations and Controls.
  • Resume should reflect a comprehensive understanding of modern microservices architectures, design patterns, and optimization techniques.
  • Ability to manage, report, and facilitate access certification for all relevant resources.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field; or equivalent industry experience.
  • Capability to obtain a Security+ certification within the first 90 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with GovCloud or AWS networking.
  • Proficient in Hashicorp Vault and concepts of Immutable Infrastructure.
  • Experience with Gitlab and its CI/CD pipelines, along with knowledge of the CI/CD ecosystem.
  • Background in enhancing and managing existing environments.
  • Strong advocate for Test Driven Development (TDD) practices.
  • Advanced qualifications, including a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field, with extensive experience (10+ years in engineering, 15+ years in IT), including 5+ years mentoring junior team members and 4+ years in a leadership capacity on technical projects.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Secret security clearance is required.

Work Environment:

  • Position based at Langley AFB, VA, with primary hours during night shifts (2nd and 3rd shifts), including weekends and federal holidays.
  • May involve up to 10% travel.

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $140,000 - $225,000, based on comprehensive experience and demonstrated skills.
