Occupational Therapist (OT) - Outpatient
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient clinic in San Leandro, CA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients achieve their functional goals through personalized therapy programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and occupational needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities, including fine motor skills, coordination, and daily living activities.
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs to support continued progress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Valid California Occupational Therapist License.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of current occupational therapy practices and rehabilitation techniques.
