We are currently seeking a dedicated Driver to fulfill the following responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and timely transportation for residents to various scheduled activities, ensuring a high level of service.
- Assist residents with mobility challenges in entering and exiting the vehicle.
- Secure wheelchairs and other mobility devices during transport to ensure passenger safety.
- Utilize communication devices effectively to report any service disruptions.
- Maintain community vehicles in optimal working condition through regular inspections and servicing.
- Perform routine cleaning and fueling of vehicles.
- Assist with vehicle registration and renewal processes.
- Document vehicle condition regularly and after each trip.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) may be necessary, along with a clean driving record as per federal regulations.
- Experience in a customer service role, ideally within a senior living context, is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance with safety regulations is essential.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
