Job Summary:

As a Preschool Teacher Aide at LifeWorks Community Action, you will play a vital role in supporting our early childhood education programs. This rewarding position offers opportunities for growth, teamwork, and making a positive impact on the lives of our young students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development.
  • Assist with classroom management, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Support the development of materials and activities that reflect the cultural diversity of our children and families.
  • Help supervise mealtime, promoting healthy eating habits and social skills among our students.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; experience working with preschool children and familiarity with teaching staff are highly valued.
  • The ability to lift up to 40 pounds and possess basic first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within the initial probationary period).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a commitment to maintaining professional relationships with staff and clients.
