Mammography Technologist Job Summary

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at St. Joseph Medical Center. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and special mammography procedures, ensuring high-quality images and excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mammography procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
  • Ensure accurate and high-quality images
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest mammography techniques and technologies

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Mammography registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.)
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Mammography experience preferred
