As a member of our Food Service Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food and exceptional service to our patients, residents, and staff. We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team in an Assisted Living setting, working part-time day shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including baked goods, entrees, and snacks, following standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines.
  • Ensure food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met, adhering to our facility's policies and procedures.
  • Operate kitchen equipment, such as mixers, slicers, kettles, and ovens, to prepare and cook food.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively with our Food Service Team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, residents, and staff to understand their dietary needs and preferences.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of six months of applicable experience in food preparation and cooking.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
  • Basic math skills to accurately measure ingredients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid Driver's License may be required, depending on location.
