Key Responsibilities
  • Install and assemble packaging materials, including lamps, tape, and silicone components.
  • Operate various machinery, including air staplers and nail guns, to efficiently package products.
  • Utilize forklifts and cranes to move and position packaged goods.
  • Weigh and measure finished crates to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Load trucks with packaged goods, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Assist in storing and retrieving signs and other materials as needed.
  • Verify the accuracy of packaging documentation, including pre-packaging check sheets and labels.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety practices, rules, and standards.
  • Record and maintain accurate data, including materials used and timecards.
  • Read and understand job-related documentation and procedures.
  • Maintain and perform routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a production or packaging environment is preferred.
  • Basic math skills, including percentage calculations and measurement conversions.
  • Knowledge of hand tools and basic machinery operation.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with opportunities for overtime. The second shift core hours are 4:30 pm to 3:30 am, Monday through Thursday.
